My Korean Playlist

I’m definitely still a noob when it comes to Kpop and Korean artists in general. It actually hasn’t even been a year since I’ve been introduced to Kpop. In all honesty, many of the Kpop fandoms kind of turn me off to the idea of becoming one myself. Sorry if that sounds a little harsh, but Kpop fans can be a bit wild and obsessive. I’ve seen some things online where fandoms can actually be quite toxic. Hopefully they are the just the minority.

My brother is a Kpop fan and he has been showing me some pretty great songs that I just can’t stop singing! He’s the real reason I ever started listening to Kpop at all lol. So I wanted to create an ongoing series of sorts called “My Korean Playlist” where I post any artists or songs that I am currently loving at the moment. So let’s get started!

Artists I’m Loving

Got7 – I’m still having a tough time memorizing all their names…or even remembering that there are seven members (sorry Jinyoung 🙈) but I really like their music! I even watched their little reality show they have on Netflix. I have to thank my brother for introducing me to them. His favorite member is Youngjae. I like AmeriThaiKong! Lol

Hyolyn – I actually found her by accident but she’s amazing. Super pretty, beautiful voice, can dance, and stays true to her own musical sound. I love that. My brother just told me a couple weeks ago that she’s a former member of a girl’s group. I would have never guessed. It feels like it was meant for her to be a solo artist.
